Assabet River - Ben Smith Dam - Maynard

I stopped by the dam on my way home again and was surprised at how high the water was after just one partial day of heavy rain. With the overcast sky and cool aig (51 degrees) I figured it would be perfect. In a matter of 15 minutes, I caught 4 Dace and 1 Sunfish. Apparently the Fallfish (dace) are still spawning and are extremely aggressive. Dragging the Rooseter Tail across the swift current still proved to work. On my last cast I lost the spinner. Driving home i noticed a tick crawling on my pant leg.
