After being convinced to fish the shore of Heard's after work tonight, it paid off. Casting a heavy Blue Fox spoon into the wind was just enough to pull up this nice pre-spawn Largemouth just 10 feet from shore near some bushes. The pond is still very high from the river overflow. I had a few more hits after that and that was it. I also tossed my #5 Mepps Buck Tail. Not sure if it was the 60+degre overcast that woke up the bite.
