XYZ Street - Hull

I picked up my uncle-in-law and an old high school friend at 5:45am and headed to the beach at XYZ Street. Conditions seemed perfect. 1/2 tide on the way out, and a nice day was expected. Not only that, people were catching Stripers everywhere. Myself and John used Mackerel Chunks and my friend used clams. Unfortunately after the sun came out, so did the waves. Small swells were rolling in and there was a lot of weed in the water causing the line to be weighed down and also move the bait around on the bottom. It proved to be a major pain that required re-casting every 15 or so minutes. Yet again, no bites, no fish.
