I took Jr to the town pier on the 4th to see if we could catch something (anything) off the bottom. My father, uncle, and father-in-law tagged along and met us there. First off, there was barely a place to stand with all the crab "fisherman". I had one solid strike and nothing else for an hour.
Jr and my father-in-law didn't catch anything either. I did see one woman pull up a nice Skate. Used clams, the pier bait shop did no have any seaworms. The bait dealer actually microwaved the frozen clams thinking he was helping us but he actually cooked them and we were unable get the meat to stay on the hook. -skunked
