Barlows Landing - Pocasset

We launched my fathers 14' aluminum today at Barlows Landing and headed out to a small Ledge Maybe 2 miles from the boat launch. We fished the bottom in hopes of anything but Scup but that's all we ended up reeling in. I ended up landing a monster (pic) my father actually kept it. On the way back in we trolled. I clipped on a broken back Rapala with a steel leader. Just before we made it to the launch, I hooked into a nice Bluefish. I fought him all the way to the boat, once I got him to the side of the boat, I leaned over, grabbed the leader and pulled the fish out of the water and immediately noticed he was foul hooked in the gill plate. Once the fish was airborn, he flipped a couple of times, banged his head off the side of the boat and ended up back in the water. I counted it as a catch, my father and brother thought differently.
