Lake Champlain DAY 2 - Port Henry, NY

-Day 2-
The next morning we were back at the boat ramp at 6:30am. This time Pete dragged us out on a small shack on skis by a 4-wheeler (see pic).
This time the road was totally flooded and coming into the shack that we were in. It was crazy. By the time we got to the shanty, we already knew what to do and we went right to it. At the end of the day we had cleaned another 70 Smelt. We also caught four Yellow Perch jigging Swedish Pimple's off of the bottom with some smelt meat on the hook.
It was a great trip. We'll be back.
For info: Pete Hanson, "Pete Hanson Shanties" Port Henry/Moriah, NY 518-546-7808
We paid $30 per day. It included transportation, heat, bait, and the drop lines. A great deal!
