We made an early trip up to Hinsdale not knowing what was there waiting
for us. As soon as we launched the boat Andy and I both commented on
the wind. It was breezy. Then, after struggling across the river and
motoring up the left side, there were times were we were barely moving.
The motor was unable to keep up with the wind & currentcombined .
Also, the floating and semi buoyant debris was just too much for
trolling. Every other square foot of surface was covered with leaves.
The wind, leaves, sticks and wind was just too much. After making it
past theBrattleboro Bridge we came across white caps and decided to pack it in and try another spot on the way home.
